Hi Mum and Brenda,

I started with this wall and worked around to my right. The patterned paper stops at the end and a honey coloured one starts for the long walls.

the paper frames the windows and makes the most of them as a feature, instead of a why are they there?

Since I took these photos we have bought new curtains and cleaned the carpets.

Butlins Beauties....

Hi Mum here is the old post that i never got around to finishing!!

A simple room with cold water only and no burners allowed. Washing facilities were at the end of the row. We also saw some quite old ones that ran in rows and looked to be single rooms.

If you can blow this picture up by clicking on it it makes for quite fascinating reading.
And this is how they are now........big and beautiful and rather American looking but apparently the colours are original Butlins colour schemes,
